Ravenkit padded around then sat down to try and pull out the thorn in her paw when she saw a cat in front of the hollow and smelled the squirrel. She crouched down and, since she lived alone and usually had to steal prey, crouched like a trained apprentice and crept closer quietly.

Ravenkit sees her chance and runs into the hollow, trying to find the squirrel. When she found it, she picked it up but it was heavier than she thought. She dragged it across the hollow and tried to run with it outside but tripped, dropping the squirrel and yowling with pain because the thorn was still in the black kit's paw and it sunk in deeper.

She looks up and sees the kit and tries to get up but yowled in pain again and falls down.

Ravenkit tried to escape the cat's grip on her because she lived alone and wasn't used to cats picking her up and tried scratching but failed and could only struggle while the cat brought her to whatever she was going. "Let me go!" She yowled and tried to scratch again.

Ravenkit stopped clawing but wiggled much faster because she lived alone and didn't have good experiences with clans. "Drop me!" She said more desperately.

She still wanted to squirm but was out of energy to move because of the thorn still deep in her paw and she could see blood dripping down her paw and landing on the ground and more was coming out quickly. She yowled in pain again and more leaked out fast.

Ravenkit licked the wound quickly only moving it around more and more coming out. It sank in deeper and Ravenkit yowled in pain much louder as it made a puddle around her paw as she fell to her side.

Ravenkit just padded off, still not trusting clans after they proved to her they were loyal or trusting enough for her to trust them. She looked at the cobweb on her paw and heard a hissing noise. She turned around and saw a snake. Her eyes went wide and her tail puffed up and ears pinned back against her head.

Ravenkit's tail flatten and ears relaxed. "Thanks," she mutters, not knowing if she heard her or not but she didn't really care if she did. She padded away and got some moss to make herself a bed, since she's used to living alone and wasn't used to other cats.

Ravenkit wakes up and sniffs the air. She gets up and follows the smell. She gets a worried look on her face and crouched down like a fully trained apprentice and creeps closer. She pokes her head out of a bush quietly and carefully and sees a pack of giant dogs. Her eyes get wide and she backs up and steps on a branch, alerting the dogs. The largest one goes over to the bush Ravenkit is in and Ravenkit runs. The biggest one barks to the other dogs and chases her.

Ravenkit pants hard, out of breath and closed eyes, her paws still running in midair.
"Dogs...dogs...attacking...camp..." She gasps, still out of breath. She stops and sees Lightstorm carrying her and catches her breath. She goes limp and tries to relax.

She looks down and her paw. With the cobweb torn off, all that was left was a deep scar.

Ravenkit could barely keep her eyes open. She laid down and, for the first time in a very long time, she purred and fell asleep. Her tailed curled around Lightstorm's leg.

"My family was killed by a clan," Ravenkit meowed quietly. "They came one night and got my mother and father first. Then I dug a hole to try and hide from them and I did. But when I came out, my family was gone. You probably didn't hear a thing I just said since your asleep..."

She got a surprised look on her face. She thinks about it for a while and says, quietly and muffled, "I'll join your clan."

Her stomach growls and she blushes. "Apparently I'm hungry..." She blushes.
